Accreditation

Accreditation is an unknown. Most people rely on what they hear from colleges or high school counselors for their information. Accreditation is often presented as similar to a Good Housekeeping seal of approval or a quality check when you buy a used car. But these descriptions don’t really fit anymore. Now accreditation has become a way to enforce bad policies and keep newcomers out.

John Adams College, along with a few other colleges, has chosen not to participate, and we invite other colleges and universities to join us.

It really is possible! Our students have done it and other schools have also done it before us. Don’t buy into the arguments you hear; they aren’t true. Feel free to ask us any questions you might have. We will answer them!

Below are two articles that will help you understand what accreditation really is. They’re both a deep dive but well worth the read!

Together, these articles should give you all you need to know to confidently enroll your student in John Adams College’s classical liberal arts program.

But if you are still hesitating, or if you don’t see an answer for your specific questions, contact us; we would love to talk with you!
