Art Morin has a BA and MS in Political Science (both from Utah State University), and a PhD in Political Science (from the University of California, Santa Barbara – UCSB). He spent nearly 21 years at Fort Hays State University (Hays, Kansas), where he taught Political Science and Liberal Studies. While there, he served as the Director of the Master of Liberal Studies Program for nearly eight years. He also taught Political Science at BYU, SUNY-Buffalo, UCSB, and UVU, and worked in a secretarial position in the Department of Sociology at UCSB. His experience in the private sector includes working as a truck driver, salesperson, and in customer service. He and his wife have four children and four grandchildren.
